This garden area is finally starting to fill in, after struggling along in the shade of a spruce tree for many years (one spruce has been removed, but another is still nearby so this spot gets only very early morning sun.) Above you will see:
- epimedium rubra finishing blooming, but I still love it for the reddish leaves,
- leopard's bane blooming its sunny little head off,
- bleeding heart just starting to bloom (it may be way ahead in your garden, but remember, mine is in deep shade),
- shrub ninebark 'Coppertina' in the background (new last year so is still quite small),
- and of course, tulips.
