It appears that I have two different varieties of purple aconitum (monkshood) in the garden to the right of the steps - one is tall and blooming, the other is shorter and doesn't have any buds on it yet. There are supposed to be three in front of the chimney and two to the right of the railing, below, but you can't tell, can you? Note to self - re-arrange them next spring and put the three tall ones in front of the chimney. And only one more chance - if the short ones don't bloom next year, they're out.

That's a pretty decent garden, if you ask me. I love the deck plants, they are really gorgeous. All you need now is do some landscaping and a couple of touch ups. You have very nice garden furniture already. You just have to make good use of them.
