hi Janice, are you start winter sowing or indoor seeding ? I started winter sowing perennial 2 days ago (rudbeckia, gailardia, hollyhock, agastache and lupin seeds ), I have done this last year for experiment ,they germinated around mid March, and rudbeckia, gailardia and agastache were flowering last summer.

Hi Ina!  Im not planning to start too many perennials or slower growing things this year and I wanted to make sure I got strawberries ASAP, so Im not bothering with winter sowing this year.  Sounds like you have big plans though!  Cant wait to see more pictures of your amazing garden this year!
