what's blooming in the side garden, mid August

This is another minimal maintenance area.  There's echinops (globe thistle), several kinds of clematis, pink baby's breath and a few shasta daisies reblooming right now.  I cut the verbascum (mullein) flowers off before they went to seed but the nice, textural leaves remain.
