...you very intentionally arrange to have windows replaced before the growing season to ensure minimal damage to your plants! OK spring, I'm ready for ya now!!
If you've been following my blog for a while you'll know that I originally wanted to paint the windows a fun, funky colour combination. But reality and practicality set in and we're going to be gradually replacing our old wooden windows with vinyl ones, so I had to go with a more traditional colour. Still, I'm happy with the look. Can't wait to get rid of the yellow!
Now the next decision becomes...
Do I bother to paint the trim on the rest of the windows to match when they're just going to get replaced in a year or two anyway?
Yes, you might say, because it wouldn't take very long to do. But remember, I've got 3 little kids and I work full-time - so I need to prioritize!!
The practical thing would be not to. I'll paint the door for sure, because it's so close to the new windows, but the bay window?
What do you think? Could you live with a house that looked like this for a year or two? I'm not sure I can. I expect I'll be making a trip to the paint store soon...
Love the new windows! I would paint the bay window too - hubby can help!! :-)

Paint's cheap and doesn't seem to last that long anyway (at least not in my house!)...go for it!

Youre both right, what was I thinking? It must be done. My hubby however, is not really a project kind of guy and definitely not a painter. He could live with the house this way for years. I guess Ill be adding painting to my spring to-do list!
