December is for sewing, not sowing

You may not think December is a time to think about gardening, but it is for me!  I've finishing recounting how the garden did this past year and making lists of things I want to add/change next year.  Soon it will be time to order seeds...

But before that, must get ready for Christmas!  In the absence of actual gardening that needs to be done, I manage to find a little time for sewing in December.  Making gift bags is my thing.

What do you do to get through the winter months?

I just ordered seed catalogues for the first time ever and I am so excited to have them arrive! That, and dreaming about my tree plan and hardscaping will keep me in the gardening frame of mind.

I am really enjoying winter photography as well, and hope to learn a little more about the technical end of things in that regard.

And, of course, I chase my toddler around :-)
