Last week I was so good! I talked about weeding and I actually did some, too!
Well, this week-end I drove by Superstore and this is what I ended up coming home with. I am now fully distracted by spring and I might get around to weeding sometime again before the end of the month...
Clockwise from top left:
Saskatoon "Thiessen"; purple osteospurmum, pink geranium and licorce plant; lavender, bacopa and dusty miller; previously planted pansies with new red fountain grass; everything else sitting on my picnic table waiting to be planted (check out that spectacular purple ornamental millet and new patio chairs, too!)
The so-called experts always say to go to the garden centre with a list so that you don't impulse buy. Does anyone actually do that?
PS Sorry about the underline. I can't seem to turn it off!
Really? A list? Lists are only for groceries! I can always justify a new addition. Why just last week I said I wasn't going to buy plants this year-the lilacs at Greengate were just too tempting. Oooo...I found some Canadian Tire money in the car today!

Ha ha!
I am better than I used to be because I just have so much already and I don't really have much space left for new stuff. I typically don't impulse-buy perennials any more, but annuals for containers are another story! Those colourful blooms are just too compelling, especially at this time of year!
Glad to hear I'm not the only one, though! :-)
