This medium-height sedum was new for me this year and I am very happy with it. It is only just starting to bloom, but it looked nice all season thanks to the greyish-purple leaves and purple stems. The purple repeated a colour I have throughout the same garden, from elderberry, castor bean, ninebark and more.
The succulent leaves got a little pockmarked in the June/July hail, but still looked OK (but then I'm not a perfectionist). I like it paired with bearded iris and ornamental grasses for the great contrast in textures.
spec's: 45 cm tall and wide, likes full sun, drought tolerant.
