Enough already!

A week of snow and temperatures continuously below freezing.  The worst april on record for a loooooooong time!

I am way behind on my gardening plans!!! 

Someday I will be posting beautiful pictures of plants that do well in Calgary... in the meantime here are some of my lilacs encased in ice.  Sigh.

I couldn't believe the wintry weather you folks out west received! Let's hope this is just "the poor man's fertilizer" and that spring will settle in with sun and warmer temps soon!

Wow - as sad as it is that it has been so cold and icy - that is a really cool picture of your lilac in ice!
